Giovana M was bred by us out of our Star Mare Jeike van de Wildwall who has passed on many of her own qualities to this young stallion. He is developing well for his age and has a very good walk and trot with plenty of mane.
Giovana’s father Anders 451 is a Grand Prix Stallion who in 2011 finished third at the Championship Gradings in Holland. At the 2010 gradings Giovana got a Second Premie.
The Friesian horse is a very ancient breed and has to be considered the only remaining native breed of horse in The Netherlands. Thankfully it’s no longer an almost extinct breed made up of a frighteningly small population being kept barely alive by the efforts of just a few enthusiasts. Nevertheless this is exactly what happened two times in the 20th century.
