This horse was bought from Holland 2007, she was driving & riding but we just use her for breeding now.
Feikje van de Dollen has bred 3 very nice off springs since we have bought her & also won her class at Ballymena Agricultural Show in 2010 & 2011.
She also gained Second Premie Ster at the Friesian Horse Inspection at Dublin in 2007.
The Friesian horse is a very ancient breed and has to be considered the only remaining native breed of horse in The Netherlands. Thankfully it’s no longer an almost extinct breed made up of a frighteningly small population being kept barely alive by the efforts of just a few enthusiasts. Nevertheless this is exactly what happened two times in the 20th century.
